Dating Safety Tips
Safety precautions
Meeting people online can be daunting if you haven’t tried it before, but to stay safe the rules are exactly the same as they would be when meeting new people face-to-face.
Personal information
Your personal information is precious and should be treated with care. Love and Adore UK has a safe, secure messaging system for you to use to communicate with women at your own pace so there is never any need to give out personal contact details until you’re certain that you’re ready.
Meeting up
The over-riding rule when meeting up with someone you have met online is to always stay in control. Meet in a public place, tell someone where you plan to go and arrange to contact them at a given time to confirm all is going well.
Scammers
When making contact with new people online the rules for staying safe are exactly the same as they would be when meeting someone face-to-face. If anyone asks you for money or financial details you should cut off contact immediately and alert our Customer Care team to what has happened.
Passwords
Your password should never be shared with anyone and should be difficult for another person to guess. Children’s names are memorable but easy to guess and passwords such as “password”, “123456″ or “qwerty” should also be avoided.
Be sensible
The overwhelming majority of people you meet online will be genuine people simply looking for romance, companionship or friendship. All it takes to stay safe is to exercise a little common sense just as you would when you meet someone new in the pub, on the bus, or anywhere else.
